Traditional chiropractic care uses manual spinal adjustments to relieve pain, improve function, and support natural healing.
Structural corrective chiropractic care focuses on restoring proper spinal alignment to improve overall function and alleviate pain. It aims to correct the root cause of structural imbalances for long-term health benefits.
Upper cervical chiropractic care focuses on aligning the upper spine to improve nervous system function and overall health. It specifically addresses the top two vertebrae, aiming to alleviate pain and enhance body balance.
Cold laser therapy uses low-intensity laser light to stimulate healing in tissues, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain without causing heat or discomfort.
Functional wellness focuses on optimizing bodily functions and overall well-being through a holistic approach, addressing lifestyle factors, nutrition, exercise, and stress management for optimal health.
Massage therapy involves the manipulation of muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation, reduce tension, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being.
Chiropractic care is a form of alternative medicine focused on diagnosing and treating mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. Founded in the late 19th century by Daniel David Palmer, chiropractic care is built on the principle that proper alignment of the spine is essential to overall health and wellness.
Chiropractors use hands-on spinal manipulation and other manual techniques to adjust misaligned joints, known as subluxations. These adjustments aim to restore mobility, relieve pain, and support the body's natural ability to heal itself without surgery or medication. While spinal manipulation is the core of chiropractic care, many chiropractors also offer nutritional counseling, exercise recommendations, and lifestyle advice.
Chiropractic care is commonly sought for issues such as:
Lower back pain
Neck pain
Headaches and migraines
Sciatica
Sports and work-related injuries
Patients often report improvements not only in physical pain but also in their overall sense of well-being.
Chiropractic care is generally considered safe when performed by a licensed and trained practitioner. It offers a non-invasive, drug-free alternative for pain relief, especially for chronic conditions. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, such as osteoporosis or spinal cord compression, so a proper medical consultation is always recommended.
